About Dr. Brightman

Dr. William Brightman has been a practicing chiropractic physician since 1998 and has been in health promotions since 1989. He currently has a successful private practice in Mahopac, NY, where he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of joint and muscle pain.
The treatments Dr. Brightman utilizes are well researched, conservative, non-surgical, and innovative. He has treated thousands of patients with various musculoskeletal complaints with a myriad of treatment approaches. He has done extensive graduate and post-doctoral work in the field of Sports Medicine, Bio-mechanics and Exercise Physiology. Dr. Brightman serves as a chiropractor and sports medicine consultant for many local high schools, as well as health, boxing and wrestling clubs. He has had the good fortune of working on elite high school, collegiate, olympic and professional athletes. However, his focus is always on the individual who is in front of him, whether the weekend warrior, housewife, laborer, or the individual who got hurt sitting at the desk. He treats individuals of all ages with the goal of reducing pain and restoring full function and better health. Dr. Brightman is humbled and honored to be able to work on anyone who seeks his service.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Brightman is also an educator where he teaches Sports Medicine at the Yorktown BOCES.
